The ‘Naki in Winter

Left Wellington in howling wind and rain, got a bit of sun in the Manawatu, back to overcast after Whanganui. No sign of Taranaki Maunga until after Pungarehu. Cloud was still stacked on the south of the Maunga when we got to Centennial Drive in NewPly.

You can then double click them again to see full size (although they are fairly crap, because I converted 20Mb .png images down to less than 1 Mb .webp for the interwebs: gotta save the planet from them datacentres that want as much power as Tiwai Point…)
