We haven’t been out of plum jam in the cupboard since the first December after we moved up here from The Big Smoke. And I haven’t made any since 2022, but we finally used it all.
But I wasn’t too worried, because I knew I had some stewed plums in the freezer from (about) four years ago. Which I took out and threw in a big pot, added some sugar, and threw heat underneath.
Wasn’t till things started to thaw I realised they still had the stones in them.
